Desert Home
Designed for couples, the five guest units bear the name of desert animals: Yael (ibex),
Pere (wild ass), Ram (oryx), Karakal (caracal), and Dorban (porcupine).
Each unit features a kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, stove, electric kettle. For your convenience you will find tableware, coffee, tea, spices, and surprising treats.
You will hardly want to use the air conditioner in the Mizpe Ramon climate. A fireplace will warm you during cold winter nights; make sure to bring warm clothes even for summer nights.
Each unit includes a queen-size bed, a sitting area convertible into a sleeping corner with another bed, a television set, D.V.D. and an audio system. We recommend to bring your favorite CDs.
The private porch of each unit is decorated with herb pots and faces the landscape.
A small though variegated library offers fiction, non-fiction, and art books.
After breakfast, when you relax in front of the desert, all you have to do is decide how to spend
the day: resting, hiking on some of the most beautiful paths in the country, or visiting
the adjacent attraction sites.
The home owner will be happy to tell you about the hidden and less known spots in the area.
Bait Bamidbar will wait for you at sunset in the garden or on the porch with herbal tea or wine...

Very refined and authentic interior design - feels like a cosy home, that is in harmony with nature and the desert. Lots of small objects contributing to the comfort of your stay (in the kitchen, bathroom, living room); Perfect Israeli breakfast full of fresh and local produce; Great location close to the vibrant "spices route quarter"; Chen the hostess is very organized, responsive and helpful; Very clean.

Spacious room with cooking facilities and wonderful desert outlook Chen and David were excellent hosts, providing information and answering all our questions. Breakfast home cooked and delicious.
Great base for exploring the crater.
What a delightful, homey base for exploring the area. The staff were attentive and informative without being overbearing. The room was well-appointed and private. My G-d, the breakfast! One of the best meals we had in Israel.
